Your information is not our product.
Quote sites make money one of two ways: selling your details, or being paid by insurers for introductions. We only do the second. Here is exactly how we keep it that way.
1. We never sell your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your name, email, ZIP code, phone number or anything else you tell us. Not to marketers, not to lead buyers, not to data brokers, not to "partners" for their own marketing. This is not a setting you have to find and switch off. It is how the business is built.
Once quotes are live, insurance partners will pay us for introducing shoppers to them. They will never pay us for your personal details, because we never hand those over.
2. Your phone number stays locked
You never need a phone number to see prices. If you choose to give us one, here is what happens to it:
- Encrypted on arrival. Each number is locked with its own encryption and stored only in that form.
- Released once, to one company. When you apply, the company you picked receives it. Our system refuses to release it a second time, to anyone.
- Wiped after release. Once that company has it, our encrypted copy is erased.
- Logged. Every step is recorded, so we can show who received your number and when.
Your number stays locked with us. No one sees it until you choose a policy, and then only that company.
Here is what the record looks like for one number:
stored 2026-11-02 14:05 encrypted, 30-day timer starts
released 2026-11-04 09:12 to: the company you picked
(encrypted copy erased)
Once the company you chose has your number, their own privacy policy covers how they use it, for example to finalize your policy.
3. Unused numbers delete themselves
If you do not apply within 30 days, your number is erased automatically. You can also delete it yourself at any time with the private link we give you, or by emailing privacy@quietquotes.com.
4. No trackers on this site
This site loads no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics, and no fonts or scripts from other companies. Every file comes from quietquotes.com. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, and nothing more.
Check it yourself
A promise you cannot verify is just marketing. Here is how to test ours:
- Watch the network. On a computer, open any page here, press F12 (or right-click and choose Inspect), open the Network tab and reload. Every request goes to quietquotes.com. No ad networks, no analytics companies, no font services.
- Read the line under our button. It says exactly what you agree to: two emails, nothing else. There is no hidden consent to calls or partners.
- Look for cookies. In the same tools, open Application (or Storage) and look under Cookies and Local Storage. Both are empty, because we set none. See our Cookie Policy.
- Check who handles your data. The full list is below. If it ever grows, this page will say so first.
| Company | What it does for us | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts the site, blocks attacks, delivers our emails | Technical request data, and your email address when we send you a message |
| Insurance partners | None yet | Nothing. When we add partners, they receive only what you choose to give them, when you choose to |
| Advertisers, data brokers, lead buyers | None, ever | Nothing |
Changes to this promise
- November 3, 2026: Added the cookie check and linked our Cookie Policy and Bots and AI crawlers policy. No promise was weakened.
- October 19, 2026: Promise first published.
If we ever change this promise, the change and its date will appear here before it takes effect. We will never change it to allow selling your information.
